We look behind the grout before we sell you grout.

Cracked grout and peeling caulk are sometimes a sign of water getting behind the tile. Sealing over that just hides it. If your photos or the shower itself show loose tile, soft walls or an active leak, we say so plainly instead of selling you a cosmetic fix.

Restoration, not renovation

Our 4-step process

Porcelain and ceramic tile last for decades. What fails is the cement grout between the tiles and the caulk in the corners. We replace only what failed.

  1. 01Grind outOld, moldy grout and failed caulk come out to sound, clean joints. Nothing new goes over old material.
  2. 02Steam sanitize220°F dry vapor steam kills mold in the joints and lifts residue without harsh chemicals.
  3. 03Color seal or epoxyFresh grout, finished with a pigmented color seal or upgraded to non porous epoxy.
  4. 04Silicone recaulkEvery corner, pan, tub and glass joint sealed with commercial silicone built for wet areas.

Frequently asked questions

How much does shower regrouting cost?

Our flat rates are: recaulking from $350, wet-zone regrouts from $700 to $800, and full shower enclosure restorations at $1,400. We confirm your exact price from photos before we arrive.

How long does it take?

Most jobs are completed in one day. Grout and silicone need time to cure before the shower is used, and we tell you exactly how long before we leave.

Do you put new grout over the old grout?

No. Grout over grout peels and cracks. We grind out the old grout and cut out the old caulk before installing new material.

What is dry vapor steam sanitation?

Superheated vapor at 220°F that penetrates porous grout and kills mold and mildew without harsh chemicals, then dries quickly.

Should I choose color seal or epoxy grout?

Color sealing suits sound showers with moderate use. Epoxy grout is non porous and better for daily use primary showers or showers with recurring mold. We recommend one after seeing photos.

Can you fix my shower if tiles are loose?

We replace individual cracked or loose tiles. If many tiles are hollow or the wall is soft, the problem is behind the tile and a restoration is not the right fix. We will tell you honestly.

Are you licensed and insured?

Yes. We are licensed and insured as a New Jersey Home Improvement Contractor. Our registration number is shown on this site.

How do I get a price?

Send your name, mobile number, town, and what needs work through the form. Adding one or two photos of the shower lets us text back a firm flat price. You can also just call.
